“From the onset, Dr. Gordon A Jiroux, hc and his team at UFC have been extremely responsive to our requests to meet our needs, and at the same time always displaying the willingness to serve the best interest of our students”
Dr. Trey Cade
Director of the Institute for Air Science
When we began to structure the framework and requirements for a Baylor flight training program, many of our academic aviation colleagues and most of the interested potential flight training partners we talked with accused us of having ‘unrealistically high expectations’. They told us that our vision for collegiate flight training couldn’t be achieved. Truth is, our vision was to provide a gold standard for aviation education. To me, this means possessing airline level reliability, corporate executive infrastructure, and military-precise standardization, procedures, and instruction. Universal Flight Concepts (UFC) delivered. I am proud to say that our ‘unrealistic high expectations’ are met daily and the product of those high expectations, the new-to-the-industry professional pilots that we are producing, are contributing directly to an overall increase in aviation professionalism within the industry.

“UFC is a strong, fast paced environment with high professional standards. Going to UFC I know I am getting the highest quality training there is, and I am proud to call it my flight school”
Gary Lillard -Aviation Sciences Major-
“UFC offers top-tier instruction in some of the highest quality training aircraft. Their rigorous curriculum is perfect for those who have a strong desire to excel in aviation and are motivated to work hard to achieve their goals. As a full-time college student-athlete, there are not a lot of opportunities to get out to the flight line. However, UFC’s instructor and aircraft availability allows me to effectively train at my own convenience, while still earning one rating per semester”
Brook Botha -Aviation Sciences Major-
“To be blessed enough to train at UFC, is to experience growth, state-of-the-art equipment, and people who care so much about your safety and success. The number of aircraft available and set scheduling ensure that students are on track for a rating they desire within the short span of 4-5 months. The community and staff built at this special place make flight school not only a place to build a career, but a second home. If you believe in yourself, work hard, and stay organized success will be the only option.”
