Completion Time
Most students are enrolled full time in the program studying to obtain FAA Private through Certified Flight Instructor Instrument certificates and ratings. The above chart shows the actual length of time students have taken over the last six years to complete the program. It is possible to complete the program in 5 months, most students complete in 9 months, and a few take longer as indicated.
