Signature Aeroplex	The Universal Helicopters Flight Training Center is located on the south side of the airport off Spring Street in the Signature Aeroplex Building at Long Beach Airport, KLGB. This location in the extremely aviation busy Los Angeles basin, often with low cloud and visibility, allows students to train and build proficiency and experience for flying with confidence and competence in their later flying careers at any other busy location. Long Beach airport is a friendly field with excellent on-airport helicopter training facilities as well as having suitable VOR, ILS and GPS instrument approach procedures for instrument and instrument instructor students. The local area has many other suitable airports and cross-country routes providing an outstanding training environment for students. The Los Angeles area also boasts many other facilities and attractions for visiting students when they have the spare time!
